Individuals who participate in WCS programs come from different walks of life but have one thing in common – they ALL have experienced some kind of significant adversity.

Most have been involved, or are at risk of becoming involved, in the criminal justice system. Some have been expelled from school. Some have been in prison. Others live with mental illness, addictions, or both. These serious challenges may seem insurmountable, but WCS programs help individuals FIND and STAY ON a path to their own personal success.

At WCS, experienced and dedicated staff members use nationally recognized best practices, research-based strategies, and proven curriculums, to ensure that participants can:

find freedom from addiction

Addiction can affect anyone, no matter their age, race, or socioeconomic status. A variety of WCS programs work with individuals on their journey to recovery.

be accountable for their actions

For many individuals, taking responsibility for past offenses and being held accountable for their actions are key parts of changing their behavior and the preventing future offenses. Through monitoring, testing and/or intensive case management, several WCS programs help individuals move beyond their past situations and on to healthier, more productive lives.
